Hello there! I'm Eliane Pascali, also known as Mrs. P, and I've been providing Occupational Therapy services in the North and Central New Jersey areas since 2011. With extensive experience as a trilingual Occupational Therapist, I hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. I am a licensed registered and school-certified occupational therapist in New Jersey, specializing in working with children of all ages and diagnoses in school settings.
As a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist (NBCOT) and Certified Specialist in Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs), I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I am also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP), and Certified in Primitive Reflex Integration. I am working towards my feeding specialist certification and continuously seek to learn new evidence-based approaches.
Working with children has always been my passion, and I especially enjoy collaborating with families to incorporate purposeful activities into their home routines. Throughout my career, I have predominantly worked with Spanish-speaking children and their families in educational settings. This experience has enabled me to communicate fluently in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I believe in evaluating and treating bilingual students, differentiating between language differences and barriers, and developing effective treatment programs tailored to their needs.
Regarding therapy sessions at home, I firmly believe in a play-based and child-led approach. My primary goal is to make therapy enjoyable! Whether focusing on handwriting, sensory processing, or attention-to-task methods in your home environment, we will always incorporate fun and engaging activities to maximize our time together. I also love incorporating nature-based learning into our sessions and strive to include therapeutic activities outdoors.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a proud mother of three young boys and a loving wife. I also have 2 super energetic puppies and you can often find me outdoors during my leisure time, whether hiking, running, enjoying a bonfire, or exploring new places.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. I am thrilled to bring my expertise, passion for working with children, and dedication to enhancing their skills to your home.
Let's embark on this journey together and create meaningful progress for your child!
Warm regards, Mrs. P
